A Great Spotlight from KACS:
Let’s shine the donor spotlight on Anna Parker. Anna, an 8th grader, played in the Diversified, LLC's Charity Golf Outing for KACS with her dad on May 22nd, where she won the 50/50 raffle. Within moments of being handed her sizable prize, she decided to donate over half of it, $400, to KACS. She learned about KACS at St. Michael Lutheran Church and has been involved with other fundraising and food-raising initiatives there. Anna said, “I really like this charity and the work it does for the community.” Thank you, Anna, for your generosity and for being a wonderful example of youth making a difference.
Exhibit
May 21 - July 2
On Display
Sunday May 21 – Sunday July 2
An exhibit of images and artwork depicting Christ in a variety of ethnicities and even gender.
Jesus has historically been represented as a man of European descent. While this is factually inaccurate, as Jesus was a first century middle eastern Jew. it's also theologically and spiritually limiting to our sense of the extraordinary inclusion and meaning that Jesus the Christ has for all people.
