Stewardship

Our Stewardship Season is upon us…

As we begin our 2027 Stewardship Appeal, Enough to Share, we celebrate the ways God’s abundance continues to shape our life together. Our theme is inspired by the feeding of the 5,000 in John Chapter 6— knowing that when we give what we have, God multiplies it beyond measure. Our stewardship campaign invites us to recognize that when God fills us with hope, joy, and peace, those gifts naturally overflow into serving, connecting, and giving.

Thank you for being a vital part of our church family. Your generosity, service, and presence embody the truth that in Christ, we always have enough to share.

In thanksgiving for God's blessings and for being filled with His joy in serving, connecting and giving, I/We joyfully make this financial commitment to support the Mission and Ministries of St. Michael Lutheran Church this coming year.

Week 3

Give — And Watch It Come Back Running Over

This is your moment — and not one gift goes unnoticed by God

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Luke 6:38 (NIV)

Jesus promises a return that is greater than the sum total of our gifts — and we believe that abundant generosity describes St. Michael as a congregation. No gift is too small; every act of faithful giving is seen by God and woven into something greater than any of us can imagine.

Thank you for walking this Enough to Share journey with us. We invite you to take your final step of commitment: return your pledge card no later than Sunday, November 8, give online at stmichaelpa.org or place your gift in the offering each Sunday from October 11- November 8.

In prayer,

Rick Wetzel and Randy Stone - St. Michael Stewardship Team

Week 2

The Generous Soul Is Refreshed

Something suprising happens when you give — it happens to you

“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”

Proverbs 11:25 (NIV)

Giving does not deplete you — it renews you, because whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

Your generosity is already at work in St. Michael’s community outreach, our youth programs, and our outreach to neighbors in need. Those moments of grace and generosity restore and renew us in ways you may not even see.

We are in the heart of our Enough to Share campaign, and we invite you to take a prayerful next step. Ask God what feels faithful for you this season — then trust Him with it.

In prayer,

Rick Wetzel and Randy Stone - St. Michael Stewardship Team

Week 1

God’s Abundance Is Already Within You

You already have more than enough — here’s why that matters

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV)

God has blessed us abundantly — not just for our own comfort, but so that we can share His bounty and good news. Inspired by Jesus’s miracle in the five loaves and two fish, we faithfully believe He has given us enough to share. As we enter this season of stewardship, we invite you to reflect on His faithfulness in your own life this past year.

Prayerfully consider how your gifts of time, talent, and treasure might help St. Michael carry that abundance forward for others.

In prayer,

Rick Wetzel and Randy Stone - St. Michael Stewardship Team
